The Belgrade Lakes Association will hold its annual meeting on August 14
Some call it tapioca; some call it bubbles; but for anyone who is curious or concerned about the tiny globules sometimes seen floating in Great, Long and Snow/Messalonskee Ponds, the time to learn more is Sunday, August 14 at the Belgrade Lakes Association (Great and Long Ponds) 97th Annual Meeting.
Sports fans and history buffs alike will be drawn to Livermore on Saturday, September 10, when the Norlands plays host to the Essex Base Ball Club. Organized by the Danvers Historical Society, the Essex Base Ball Club plays according to pre-Civil War era rules, allowing spectators to experience firsthand the origins of our national pastime.
