School ends; summer begins. An invasion takes place, as youth camps come alive with schedules and rituals, with whistles and bugles, with laughter and song, with beepers and even (alas) with loudspeakers. Where did it all begin?
"Art, writing and science have much in common" is the focus of the art exhibit on Bernd Heinrich currently at the L.C. Bates Museum in Hinckley. A field biologist, retired professor, author, and erstwhile Maine resident, Heinrich is a 1959 graduate of Good Will Hinckley. The exhibition documents his distinguished career through a selection of his pencil sketches, watercolors and photographs.
