Heirlooms of Tomorrow Features Artist of the Month
Furniture, furnishings, and now art! Heirlooms of Tomorrow on Routes 2 & 4 on the west side of Farmington has just enhanced its unique showroom with an "Artist of the Month" program. Drawing on Upcountry Artists' roster of members, Heirlooms is already booked with monthly exhibitors through 2006. June's Artist of the Month is Farmington painter Lucia Swallow. A student of art for twenty-one years, Lucia spends time each day practicing and exploring. Her art reflects this exploration of natural beauty. Sunsets, shadows, clouds and reflections accentuate scenes and subjects that are familiar to many in Franklin County area. At Heirlooms, Lucia's work is displayed throughout the reception area and store where W.A. Mitchell Fine Furniture and other quality wood products are for sale. An Open House for the artist was held the first weekend in June. Store hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For more information call 778-5315. | ||
