The Theater at Monmouth is in its 35th season.
As Belgrade continues to work on establishing an active historical society, much progress has already been accomplished.
Natural history and rural Maine culture are high on the list of what the L.C. Bates Museum has to offer. Children are high on the list of the many audiences the museum hopes to reach. To connect the two, the museum is offering fun and informal Saturday morning children's workshops from May to November.
An outing to the Theater of Monmouth offers many extras: the scenic drive, the attractive, historic town, the unique theater building, and the theater's new restaurant. If the timing is coordinated, there are many sights and sites to see along the way. And, this season's list of performances offers an intriguing variety.
